T-34 tank

The T-34 tank was installed on the Hill of Glory in honour of the heroic breakup of enemy defence by the 7th Separate Tank Brigade of the Guards commanded by Colonel Yu.Yu. Yurenkov as Pechenga was being stormed. On 14 October the tankmen destroyed a convoy of trucks on the road to Norway, and on 15 October they stormed into Pechenga/Petsamo amid heavy fighting.
