Stela to Titovka Line defenders

The Titovka Line is a place of fierce fighting, where the Nazis tried but never broke through to Murmansk. On 29 July 1941, soldiers of the 4th company of the 95th Infantry Regiment were holding it for 24 hours. They all died. It was the bloody fighting on the Titovka line that enabled the retreating Soviet troops to collect their strength and establish themselves on the more easterly Zapadnaya Litsa river.
